HP has issued a recall on some of their laptop batteries. These batteries have the potential to overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard to customers. For this reason, it is essential to recheck your battery even if you did so previously and were informed that it was not affected. However if you already received a replacement battery, you are not affected by this recall expansion.

If you purchased an HP laptop from us, we are happy to check if your laptop was affected and work with HP to replace the laptop battery free of charge. Feel free to bring your laptop to our office directly, ship it to us, or contact us for remote support with this issue. If you purchased an HP laptop from another vendor we can perform this service for you at our standard rate.
