Virus and Malware Cleanup

Who this is for

Pop-ups you cannot close, a computer that will not start normally, ransomware, or a browser that keeps sending you somewhere you did not ask to go. Most cleanup can start remotely the same day. Some cases are faster in the Watchung shop.

What cleanup includes

• Removal of active malware and leftover pieces
• A check that you can sign in and work again
• Good security tools and basic habits, if you want them left in place
• A written estimate before paid work, and no surprise bills

If files were encrypted or a drive is failing, cleanup and recovery are separate conversations. We will tell you which one you are in.

What to bring

The computer and power supply, plus any notes on when the problem started. Walk-in details are on the First Visit page.
