New Computer Setup and Transfers

Who this is for

A new laptop, a replacement after a failure, or a small office buying a few machines at once. Bring both computers, or just the old one. Most transfers finish the same day or the next.

What we move

• Files, photos, email, browser data, and settings
• As many programs and licenses as the new system and the license rules allow
• A full hard-drive backup of the old machine, kept for a period you choose

If the new computer is a different platform, we explain that before we start. You get a written estimate first.

Upgrades, builds, and buying

Sometimes the current computer only needs storage or memory. Sometimes a custom build or a new purchase is the honest answer. We are not tied to a brand. We can give you a parts list so you buy the pieces yourself, or we can source them. No commissions.

What happens to the old computer

You decide. We can securely wipe the drives, turn a drive into an external backup you keep, return the drives so you keep physical possession of the data, or recycle the machine. Recycling is free.
